Marie was born on July 11, 1916 in Nacora, Nebraska, the daughter of John and Mary (Hoeck) Demke. She married Walter Schwarz on March 1, 1939. She had lived on a farm near Emerson almost all of her life. She and Walter moved into Emerson in 1979. Walter passed away on October 9, 2000. Marie liked to play cards, and...
