Mary Elizabeth VanCleave, 88, of South Sioux City, NE, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, surrounded by her family. A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Dakota City, NE. A celebration of life will be on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Green Valley Cemetery near Homer, NE. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender.
