Lois J. Lueders

Lois Jean (Mackey) Lueders, 94, passed away on March 23, 2026, at the Wakefield Health Care Center in Wakefield, NE. The visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Pender, with Pastor Karen McNeill-Utecht officiating. The burial will be in St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Pender. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender.

Lois was born on June 10, 1931, to Augusta and Louis (Zobel) Mackey. A graduate of Bancroft High School, Lois worked at the local creamery before marrying Robert Dale Lueders on November 16, 1952. To this union the couple had three children, Jule, Dean, and David. She devoted her life to her family and farm, caring for the home and nurturing her deep love for animals, especially her loyal dog, Rocky.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Jule Lueders (Scott Read) of San Jose, CA; and son, Dean (Pam) Lueders of Sacramento, CA; daughter-in-law, Karen Lueders of Pender, NE; grandson, Joshua Lueders.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Augusta Mackey; brother, Vernon (LaVern) Mackey; husband, Robert Lueders; and son, David Lueders.
