Jennifer A. Crom, 55, of Sioux Falls, SD, formerly of Allen, NE, passed away surrounded by the love of her family and friends, at The Grace Space Hospice House in Lincoln, NE. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday following the visitation. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Concord Cemetery in Concord, NE. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield.

Jenn was born in Wakefield, NE, on August 8, 1970, to Dwight “Duke” and Mary (Puhrmann) Johnson. Jenn grew up in Allen, NE, and graduated from Allen High School in 1988. She spent her career working for various employers as a talented and dedicated computer programmer. Outside of work, Jenn lived a life rooted in joy, friendship, and creativity. She loved cheering for the Huskers football and volleyball team, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, spending time at “the Rivvv”; enjoying sunrises and sunsets, and driving her beloved golf cart, Ethel.

Her greatest treasures were her grandchildren. Jenn’s passion for art, and especially for scrapbooking, was a gift she shared generously with friends and family. Jenn’s legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, who all brought immense joy and pride to her life.

Jenn is survived by her mother, Mary Johnson of Allen, NE; sons, Austin (Angelica) Crom of Lincoln, NE, Zach (Hope) Crom of Palmyra, NE; brother, Mike (Andrea) Johnson of Concord, NE, beloved bonus children, Tiff (Mark) Olson of Concord, NE, Vince (Jennifer) Crom of Denton, TX; grandchildren, Emersyn, Gracelynn, Ivy, (soon to be) Duke; bonus grandchildren, Dillon, Tyler, Justice, Madison, Brayden, and Bryson; niece, Delaney; and nephew, Cade.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dwight “Duke” Johnson; paternal grandparents, Arthur and Evelina Johnson; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Clara Puhrmann; and several special friends.

Jenn will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, unwavering love for her family, and the countless memories she crafted and preserved for others.
