Jacque was born on November 10, 1937, in Waterbury, NE, the daughter of LeRoy and Ruby (Swanson) Roberts. She graduated from Allen High School in 1955, where she was involved in many activities, including being a majorette. Following graduation, she earned a teaching certificate from Wayne State Teachers College. She was united in marriage to Vandel Rahn on May 20, 1956, at First Lutheran Church in Allen, Nebraska. To this union, six children were born: Katherine, Kandace, Kurtis, Kregg, Karey, and Karma. She left teaching after a very short time and always felt blessed to be a full-time mother and caregiver to others as needed, including her parents and in-laws in their later years. She also provided immense support to Vandel, who was co-owner of R & B Construction. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsburg before moving to Fremont in 2018 to be closer to family. Jacque was a wonderful seamstress and an excellent cook, she especially enjoyed baking breads and desserts to share with family and friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, and she was adored by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Jacque will be remembered by her family and friends as having a loving touch and a beautiful and generous heart.
