Ernesto Grave de la Cruz

Ernesto Grave de la Cruz, 35 of Wakefield, NE, a loving son, brother, husband, and father, died on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE, during surgery.   The visitation will be on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Wakefield. The prayer service and funeral will follow on Friday evening, starting at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield.

Ernesto was on his way to work riding his motorcycle when he was struck by another vehicle.   He was born on July 25, 1990. Ernesto became a Guatemalan resident with his mother and father.  Ernesto came to the United States of America with hopes and dreams. In 2012, he married his loving wife, and they had 2 beautiful daughters in October of 2014 and 2016.  Ernesto took on the responsibility and cared for and loved his two step-daughters, who were born in 2007 and 2009.

"I have never met anyone with so much love for all his daughters, whether they were bound by blood or memories," was a recent statement his wife made after his passing.

En camino para su trabajo manejando una motocicleta, fue atropellado por un carro. Posteriormente, fue declarado muerto en el hospital Omaha Medical Center durante cirugía de emergencia. Nacido el día 25 de Julio, 1990, Ernesto se convirtió en residente guatemalteco junto con su padre... y su madre.... En (ano), Ernesto llegó a los Estados Unidos de América con esperanzas y sueños. En el ano 2012 se casó con su cariñosa esposa y tuvo 2 hijas bonitas en October del 2014 y 2016.

El tomo la responsabilidad de cuidad y amar a sus 2 hijastras nacidas en 2007 y 2009. "Nunca he conocido a nadie con tanto amor por todas sus hijas, estuvieran unidas por la sangre o por los recuerdos", fue una declaración reciente que hizo su esposa después de su fallecimiento.
