Pete was born in Pender, NE, the son of George and Marie (Heineman) Bolln. He grew up on a farm east of Pender with his two brothers and two sisters. He attended school at Pender High School. He then went on to work for the ASCS office in Walthill before becoming a salesman with Automatic Equipment in Pender. He then went on to sell pressure washers with Pamline before starting the Grasshopper Zero Turn Mower dealership in the mid-1980s. He continued to work with Grasshopper until retiring. Pete enjoyed fishing, attending rodeos, and playing poker. He enjoyed his nieces and nephews, but truly loved spending time with his great-nieces and great-nephews, where he was known as “Papa Pete.” Pete always had a joke or a story to tell, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Pete is survived by his nieces and nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Walt Bolln and James Bolln; and sisters, Georgia Reich and Mary Fillipi.
