Charlotte A. Roth

Charlotte A. Roth, 86, of Pender, NE, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Wakefield Health Care Center in Wakefield, NE. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pender. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pender. Burial will be in the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery near Pender. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender.

Charlotte was born on October 27, 1939, on the family farm East of Pender, NE, to John and Edith (Case) Kai. She attended Pender High School and graduated in 1957. She was united in marriage to Richard Roth in 1959. From this union, the couple had three children, Teresa, Ron, and Marsha. Charlotte loved to cook, read, and collect angels and bells.

She is survived by her son, Ron (Melissa) Roth of Lyons, NE; daughter, Marsha Roth of Wayne, NE; two granddaughters, Haley and Samantha Roth of Lyons, NE, and grandson, Dean (Carly) Gibbs; great-granddaughter, Aliyah of Omaha, NE, and Sister-in-law Diane Kai of Pender, NE.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Teresa Santee; sisters Phyllis Breitbarth, Bonnie Simonsen, and twin sister, Charleen Kai; brothers, Dale Kai, Bill Kai, and Jack Kai.
